“Meet Your Special Neighbors 2009” is a community awareness campaign which will enable the public to interact and learn about people with all types of disabilities in Kern County. Coordinated by Kern Regional Center, Rotary Clubs of Bakersfield and H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection, this pilot project will include a variety of activities, events and seminars during October 2009.

Anyone interested in participating should attend the planning meetings, which are generally scheduled for:

Time: 10:30am to Noon, with lunch served by KRC after the meeting
Date: Third Wednesday of the month
